Paul Patella has spent four decades working inside the dental industry. From leading North American growth at Straumann, the world’s largest implant company, to working directly alongside dentists and lab technicians on complex digital workflows, Paul brings a perspective that no classroom or boardroom alone can teach.

Who is Paul Patella?

My name is Paul Patella. I am a 1980 graduate of the United States Coast Guard School of Dental Technology and have spent four decades working across multiple levels of the dental industry.

From the mid-1990s through 2020, I held several North American leadership positions at Straumann, the world’s largest dental implant company, where I drove implant growth, drove the rollout of CAD CAM and digital impression technology across North America, and helped corporations, laboratories, and practices navigate the shift to digital workflows.

Today I channel everything I have learned into The Patella Co., working directly with dentists, laboratories, and corporations to help them grow, design better outcomes, and build what works. I am not interested in theory. I have done the work and I know what it takes to succeed at the highest level.
